As a volunteer intern, I worked in a team of two designers with five programmers, creating all visual assets from concept to final (excluding text plaque, birds), their respective animations, UX/UI and mechanic design. All design stages required working alongside the creative and scientific teams at Te Papa, working to their outlined brief while also providing feature ideas and insight.

 Regrow The Forest is a 1-3 player children's game where players must collaborate to match the native birds with their favourite trees, spreading seeds and repopulating the forest!

 COCO AND BUBU OTCB

Coco and Bubu On The Chopping Block is a 2-player arena fighter created in a team of four using Unity. I co-designed the game mechanics, created the 2D UI assets along with all in-engine technical work, menus and some 3D modelling.

Initially there were three abilities, each being a different food that combines with others for unique chain-reactions. The proud chefs 'faint' at the touch of these disgusting combined meals (hence the food theme). During testing we found the third ability didn't balance well and the exposition intro may take too long, so we removed both to focus and refine the core gameplay as best as possible.

Use your wits and feathers in this hectic 1v1 arena, where two rival bird chefs battle it out with... pickles... and eggs. Watch out, they might combine to make explosive reactions!

 LEGS

LEGS is a 2-4 player arena brawler created in a team of five using Unity. I co-produced, designed and created artwork for two levels, created all environment interaction and animations, UI and menus, along with some back-end gameplay systems and the trailer.

Play LEGS with 2-4 players and fight to the death in this fun physics brawler! Each joystick controls a leg on your character, utilize this movement and equippable shoes to beat your opponent!

COURIER

Courier is an isometric platformer I directed with a team of four using Unity. I produced, concepted, designed and coded both front and back ends of the project. This includes Level Design, 3D Modelling, Motion Graphics, UI/Menus and gameplay programming.

Play as The Courier, a no-faced, skilled acrobatic repaying his father’s debts by doing dropoff runs for The Boss. Each of these runs become more dangerous as The Boss tests the player’s abilities in a range of escalating environments - within sight of the anti-courier NCW zones.
